Be a part of MEDIAWEEK’S 2008 MEDIA ALL-STARS celebration and nominate an outstanding media agency executive for this prestigious honor.

Please tell us in about 200 words why your nominee should be considered a 2008 MEDIAWEEK’S MEDIA ALL-STAR. How has the candidate taken his/her job to a level that's above and beyond what you expected, and what has he/she achieved over the span of their career? Please provide specifics wherever possible.

To nominate, you must be a working media professional, brand marketer, media sales rep or research supplier doing business with agencies and buying services.

Your nominee should work in an advertising agency media department or at a media agency. People who buy, plan, or research media buys, as well as media agency executives, are eligible. Media sales executives or other executives at media companies will not be considered.

NBC Wins Thursday; Weak Return for Fox's Kitchen Nightmares

It was an easy victory for NBC, with the season opening NFL Football match-up between the Washington Redskins and the New York Giants at an approximate 10.7 rating/17 share in the overnights for the prime-time (8-10 p.m.) portion.

I’d never seen a syndicated court show taped in person, so I was not about to turn down a recent invitation to attend an afternoon’s worth of episodes for upcoming Sony Pictures Television gaveler Judge Karen, presided over by South Florida judge Karen Mills-Francis.
