CBS Dominates Tuesday Overnights; Strong ABC

It was another overnight Tuesday victory for CBS care of its combination of NCIS, compatible The Mentalist and relocated Without a Trace, which built from year-ago failed occupant Cane by a hefty 58 percent.  But ABC was also on the map care of Dancing With the Stars, and Fox's House is poised for victory among adults 18-49 at 8 p.m.

Led by another winning Friday and an above average Sunday (Barack Obama on 60 Minutes, in particular), CBS is expected to win the week of Nov. 10 in both total viewers and adults 18-49.

CBS’ Thursday winning streak continued, with a metered market advantage of 18 percent over second-place ABC. That should be enough to also keep it dominant for the evening among key adults 18-49. In the distant No. 3 spot was NBC, followed by Fox and the CW.

ABC scored a midweek overnight victory, with the 42nd Annual CMA Awards at an 8.8 rating/14 share from 8-11 p.m. Comparably, that was right on par with its performance from one year earlier.
